Panolam® Surface Systems Introduces The Healthcare Collection

Panolam® Surface Systems, a leading supplier of integrated surface solutions today introduced The Healthcare Collection, a line of technically innovative and design-driven high pressure laminate products from the company’s Pionite, Nevamar, and Inspira lines.

“In response to designers’ requests for more healthcare-specific design elements, Panolam created The Healthcare Collection to provide the ultimate in design flexibility for a wide range of healthcare interior environments,” said Wendy Noory, Panolam’s director of design. “The Healthcare Collection includes patterns that are neutral in color and smaller scaled abstracts design elements that will enhance the surroundings of any healthcare environment.”

The Healthcare Collection is a grouping of four new Pionite patterns, four new Nevamar patterns, and four Inspira digital patterns in addition to some existing patterns. These designs include woodgrains, solids and abstracts designed to create a relaxed and healing environment for healthcare interiors.

“We know that healthcare interiors have a direct impact on patient and staff satisfaction, a patient’s stress and healing experience, and organization performance metrics. Surfaces and wall panels are an integrated part of patient-centered healing environments, from all levels of senior living to acute and non-acute care, and we are delighted to leverage our respective brands across multiple categories with this collection to serve the healthcare interiors market,” said Ms. Noory.

Styles in The Healthcare Collection

The new pattern Harmony is an expanded coloration of the healthcare favorite Cool Chic. A handsome non-directional abstract that has a soft textile appearance, this pattern will have two new calming colorways: Harmony Glow and Harmony Mint.

New pattern Soothing is a small-scale non-directional abstract that is inspired by the ocean’s salt air, breeze, and the sound of the waves crashing in the background along with the warmth of the sun. It has a woven textile appearance as if a woven beach bag left a very subtle imprint in the sand; available in thee colorways:  Soothing Pebble Beach, Soothing White Caps, Soothing Sea Mist.

The new pattern Ecru is a recoloration of the pattern Crema, another favorite in the healthcare industry. Ecru is a wavy linear abstract with multiple tones of neutral color such as the light beige color of unbleached linen or silk. Ecru has varied tones and irregular coloration similar to unbleached linen or silk.

Zen and Meditation Elm are light to medium tone linear woodgrains with minimal graining. These designed will blend with the abstracts and solids to create harmonious balance. Doors, cabinetry, wall protection will all be able to coordinate with our healthcare collection.

Apple Leaf is a new digital pattern for our Inspira botanicals category. It will have a small scale and large-scale formatted leaf in neutral colorway and blue-green healthcare-specific colorways.
