Pierpont’s Mother’s Day Brunch menu features unique dishes from Executive Chef Matt Barnes

Special, 3-course menu will include 6 starters, 9 entrées and 3 desserts; many not found on Pierpont's regular menus

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 27, 2018) – Pierpont’s Executive Chef Matt Barnes has created a special menu for Mother’s Day Brunch, featuring all unique dishes not available on Pierpont’s regular lunch and dinner menus. The three-course menu is available on Sunday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Sunday Brunch is $35 for adults and $15for kids, 12 and under. Pricing is exclusive of taxes and gratuity.

First Course (choose one)

  • Smoked Salmon - cured egg yolk, red onion, boiled egg, bagel chips, caper berries, butter lettuce, herbed horseradish dressing
  • Chilled Soba Noodle Salad - chilled-poached shrimp, edamame, carrots, scallion, ginger-cilantro vinaigrette
  • Fruits, Seeds & Nuts - melons, pineapple, mixed berries, roasted nut clusters, Bengal-spiced yogurt
  • Lemon & Goat Cheese Blintz - pistachios, Amarena cherries
  • Green Salad - mixed lettuces, English cucumber, tomatoes, herbed-watercress dressing
  • Chilled Cactus Pear Soup - nopales, Fresno chili, jicama


Second Course (choose one)

  • Steak & Eggs - grilled filet mignon, roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs
  • Blue Crab Eggs Benedict - crab cake, English muffin, eggs, hollandaise, crispy pancetta
  • Salmon - pomelo, French red rice, Brussels sprouts, preserved lemon butter
  • Scotch Egg - herb sausage, rumbledethumps potatoes
  • Leek & Brussels Sprouts Strata - pulled pork, gruyere cheese, whiskey-bacon marmalade
  • Biscuits & Gravy - housemade buttermilk biscuits, poblano-chorizo gravy
  • Lobster Crepe - herbes de Provence, Yukon gold purée, carrot-tomato broth
