Actor FARLEY JACKSON Ascends a Tortured Soul in New Christian-Drama Film “KEEP THE FAITH”

Also Emerges on TV in Upcoming Netflix Serio-Comedy “FLAKED” and John Singleton’s FX Pilot “SNOWFALL”

LOS ANGELES (October 19, 2015) – Actor FARLEY JACKSON ascends as a tortured soul co-starring in the new Christian action-drama feature film, KEEP THE FAITH, making its red carpet premiere at the ArcLight Cinemas in the Sherman Oaks Galleria on October 21, 2015. Jackson also emerges on the small screen in Will Arnett’s upcoming Netflix series, FLAKED, and John Singleton’s newly picked-up FX Network pilot, SNOWFALL.

KEEP THE FAITH chronicles the story of Timothy, an ex-gang leader who comes to Christ years after the rapture and is persecuted in a Christian containment camp by his rival Hakim, a former drug dealer. Jackson enters into the action as the dangerously loyal ‘Brick’, who finds himself caught in a moral dilemma between his current leader and his former best-friend.

Jackson also co-executive produced the film alongside award-winning indie film writer/director/producer Choice Skinner under the Darken Entertainment banner. Jackson was thrilled at the opportunity, explaining “It was extremely challenging, being both Producer and Co-Star, but it was also tremendously rewarding being part of a project that will touch the lives of all who watch it. I personally got the chance to do some of my most powerful work to date on this film -- it is a true 'actor's piece’.”

Coming in 2016, Jackson displays his comedic chops in the new Netflix series, FLAKED, from veteran funnyman Will Arnett (Arrested Development), who stars and executive produces along with Mark Chappell (The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret). Jackson steps into the serio-comic story as ‘Marcus’, a militant fitness trainer who doesn’t ease up on his multimillionaire software developer client (Christopher Mintz-Plasse).

Jackson also just wrapped a role in the new FX drama pilot, SNOWFALL, directed and co-created by John Singleton (Boyz N The Hood). Set against the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles in the 1980’s, Jackson’s role exemplifies the frustrations felt in the neighborhood over the issues of poverty and racism.

A Los Angeles native, Jackson has been building a solid resume in the entertainment industry. First as part of the rap group ALLIES, and then as a solo rap artist known as 'Stone Kcal1'. Since transitioning into acting, Jackson has added numerous television credits to his resume, most recently Betty White's comedy series, OFF THEIR ROCKERS. He has also executive produced and starred-in several notable indie films, including the award-winning BROTHERLY LOVE, SÉANCE, SELLING IT and the romantic comedy WINGMAN INC., which Jackson also co-produced alongside Choice Skinner.

Up next, Jackson and Skinner keep rolling along with the romantic comedy, BIG AND BEAUTIFUL, in which Jackson will star in the lead role opposite Alysia Powell; and with the action sci-fi film, ALEXUS (Defender), in which Jackson will portray the infamous 'Freight'.
