Champlain Class Organizes Business Bowling to Benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities

BURLINGTON, Vt. -- The Business of Event Management class at Champlain College will host a bowling tournament on Friday April 29, from 7-10 Champlain Lanes in Shelburne, Vt..

The purpose of this event is to create awareness and raise money to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington. "We will be asking local businesses to create a team of six to compete in the tournament. Each team will pay an entrance fee of $200 which will be donated directly to financially support the daily cost of the Ronald McDonald House here in Burlington, the Family Room at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital, and the RMHC Care Mobile. This will also give the local Vermont businesses a chance to support a local non-profit in the community," organizers said.

The Business of Event Management class is a small group of college students dedicated to raising money and awareness for a local non-profit. Sponsors are the Champlain College’s Stiller School of Business; Champlain College Student Government. Join the Facebook event page at
