At Ridgestone Bank, Woods will utilize his breadth of experience to provide SBA and USDA lending options to small and mid-sized businesses throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. Jerry Woods has enjoyed a diversified career in banking, financial consulting, and brokerage for more than 33 years. He has held various levels of responsibility in the banking industry, primarily associated with serving the needs of small business through Small Business Administration lending in Ohio, Illinois, Arizona, and Tennessee. Woods also started a small business consulting firm, advising in cash flow and capital asset management, leadership development, operations management, enterprise value maximization and succession planning.
Woods earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Toledo with an emphasis in financial management and accounting and has earned certifications and licenses in the areas of business brokerage, real estate brokerage and commercial mortgage brokerage. Woods has served on various boards of directors for educational and cultural organizations as well as for the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL). He currently serves as Director of the Ignite-Business program at Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tenn.
