‘Tis the Season for Upslope Christmas Ale

Gift-wrapped cans arrive in time for the holiday season

Boulder, Colo. (Oct. 28, 2015)Upslope Brewing Company’s Christmas Ale is coming down the chimney just in time for the holidays. The Limited Release Belgian-style Dubbel brewed with holiday spices will decorate liquor store shelves in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona starting the first week in November. For the first time, the popular Christmas Ale will be sold in four-packs of 12 oz. cans.

“Our Christmas Ale, whose recipe originally comes from a homebrew I used to bring to my friends’ holiday parties, marks a change in the seasons,” said Matt Cutter, Upslope’s Founder. “We now look forward to sharing this warming, Abbey-style ale brewed with spices with our fans over the holidays each year.”

In true Christmas fashion, the beer pours deep ruby red with an off-white headstand that laces the glass with each sip. A blend of holiday spices and dark dried fruit creates a distinctive holiday aroma that is complemented by spicy notes from the Abbey Ale Yeast. The rich malt flavor of this medium bodied, 8.2% abv ale will be sure to keep you warm through the holiday season.

“Pre-wrapped” in a festive 12 oz. red ribbon-striped can, Upslope Christmas Ale is the perfect gift for spreading holiday cheer. Don’t put off sampling this beer, it is only around for a limited time!
