Jax also announces new Executive Chef, Theresia Ota
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (July 21, 2015) –Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar and new Executive Chef Theresia Ota introduce Friday lunches beginning Aug. 14, shortly after Jax shells out 100 half-dozen oysters on Aug. 5 for National Oyster Day. Kansas City’s top spot for sustainable, fresh seafood announces Friday lunch after nearly ten months in operation and the launch of other successful promotions, including all-night happy hour on Mondays and JazzFest on Sundays.
The launch of Friday lunch will be the first major project managed by new Executive Chef Theresia Ota. Ota earned her culinary degree from Johnson & Wales Culinary School in Denver and has since worked as a chef for eight years in kitchens throughout the United States, including San Francisco, Maine, Brooklyn, Denver and Kansas City. Ota most recently worked as the Chef de Cuisine at Trillium Caterers in Maine before joining the Jax team.
Jax will offer lunch from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. every Friday.
