High Point/Greensboro, NC – Clutter is a problem that overwhelms many people. The National Association of Professional Organizers says 54% of Americans say clutter overwhelms them and 78% don’t know what to do with it. Now families in the Triad area have a new way to turn the clutter into cash. Just Between Friends is launching its first ever children’s and maternity consignment event.
Local parents Lynn & Joel Payne run the event along with their 8 year-old daughter Peyton. JBF provides a safe, convenient and organized event and offers two ways for families to “turn clutter into cash”
1. Traditional consignor – Sign up online at highpointsouthgreensboro.jbfsale.com. JBF has a simple, online barcode tagging system and sellers price their own items, drop them off at the Event Center on September 9 or 10 and JBF does the rest. Consignors earn 60 to 70 percent and there is no limit on how much they can sell.
2. JBF On Demand - JBF also offers an “on-demand” service where Lynn’s team will meet sellers in a safe, public place, review items and buy them in bulk. The seller gets paid on the spot.
Lynn & Joel had their daughter later in life and said it “rocked their world” and she wanted to find a way to stay home and still earn an income.
“Having my daughter made me realize the need for a children's consignment event. She had so many clothes, shoes and toys that she grew out of before she even used them. I researched children’s consignment opportunities and a former coworker who lives in another state introduced me to Just Between Friends! I am thrilled to bring this community event to the Triad area”, explained Payne.
In addition to making money, families can also save between 50 and 90% when they shop.

SAFETY FIRST – RECALLED STROLLER BUYBACK
September is National Safety Month, so JBF is offering a special program to help families or organizations that have Graco Alano, Passage or Spree strollers and/or travel systems, recalled in 2010. Graco recalled the models due to fingertip amputation and lacerations hazards; however, Graco is no longer manufacturing the repair kit for these strollers. Families can bring the recalled strollers to the local JBF event and will receive a $25.00 gift card to shop at the JBF event. JBF will return the stroller to Graco and it will be destroyed. For details on the recalled models: http://1.usa.gov/1vqT2XE.
A study by Kids in Danger found that only 10 percent of recalled children’s items are repaired or returned. Read the study here: http://b15it.ly/1FudJSG
