More than 20 Beverage Distributors Went ‘All in to Win’ During XYIENCE’s Inaugural Poker Tournament and UFC Fight Weekend in Las Vegas

XYIENCE Xenergy, the official energy drink of the UFC®, hosted more than 120 people from 22 distributors at Green Valley Ranch & Spa in Las Vegas on May 23 - 25.  Attendees, who were winners of XYIENCE’s ‘All in to Win’ sales incentive contest, upped the ante on Friday night at the inaugural $10,000 XYIENCE Xenergy Texas Hold ‘em Poker Tournament. Augustin “Augie” Munoz of Brown Distributing in Austin, Texas won the tournament, which was hosted by former NFL football and Olympic athlete Willie Gault.

On Saturday, attendees played in a slot tournament along with attending a pre-fight party at Cabo Wabo at Planet Hollywood and UFC® 173: Barão vs. Dillashaw at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.  The weekend closed with a Sunday morning champagne brunch.  Throughout the weekend, celebrities including UFC bantamweight champion and action movie star Ronda Rousey and former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra, both who are XYIENCE team athletes, made surprise guest appearances. Anthony Pettis, UFC lightweight champion, and BJ Penn, former UFC welterweight champion and UFC fighter Anthony Johnson  also made appearances along with UFC octagon girls Arriany Celeste and Brittney Palmer.

Distributors whose sales and management teams were in attendance included: All Brands, Kansas; Aloha Gourmet, Hawaii; Bernicks, Minnesota, Brown Distributing, Texas and Florida; Canada Dry, Delaware, Maryland and Michigan; Capital Distributing, Oklahoma; Cheerwine, North and South Carolina; Dakota Beverage, North and South Dakota; Folsom Distributing, Missouri; Gateway Distributing, Iowa and Nebraska; Golden Beverage, Utah; Hensley, Arizona; Jack Hillard, Texas, Keystone, Ohio; Love Bottling, Oklahoma; New Age Distributing, Colorado; Statewide Beverage Distributors, California; and Wirtz Beverage, Nevada.
