Actor DAVID SALSA Delivers Twice the Drama in January on Hit CBS Shows ‘SUPERGIRL’ and ‘CSI: CYBER’

Also Later This Season on Two Comedy Series: ‘ANGIE TRIBECA’ and ‘ANGEL FROM HELL’

LOS ANGELES (January 12, 2016) – Actor DAVID SALSA delivers some serious drama twice this month on two popular CBS shows, SUPERGIRL and CSI: CYBER. Salsa will follow these up later this season with appearances on two sitcoms, ANGIE TRIBECA and ANGEL FROM HELL.

Up first on January 18th, Salsa emerges as a prison guard on the freshman adventure-drama, SUPERGIRL. In the episode titled "Childish Things," Kara (Melissa Benoist) does her best to support Winn (Jeremy Jordan) when his father, the supervillain Toyman, breaks out of prison and seeks out his son.

Then on January 31st, Salsa steps into the action returning to CBS on the police procedural CSI: CYBER, starring Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek and Ted Danson. In the all-new episode titled "Going Viral," Salsa appears as ‘Eric O’Brien’ when the team heads to New York City to investigate an airborne computer virus infecting cell phones.

Salsa is excited to be part of not one, but two, CBS dramas this month, adding "It's always fun to be on set, but each of these shows has a unique quality; the comic book antics of Supergirl and then the diversity of high-pressure action and reflective moments that I got to dive into on CSI: Cyber."

Later this season, Salsa will flex his funny bone when he appears on TBS’s detective-comedy ANGIE TRIBECA starring Rashida Jones; and the new upcoming CBS laugher starring Jane Lynch, ANGEL FROM HELL.

Audiences will remember Salsa from his previous roles on several fan-favorite TV shows, including SCORPION, CASTLE, CRIMINAL MINDS and the daytime drama DAYS OF OUR LIVES. Salsa’s credits also include the action-thriller cult film MEGA SHARK VS. MECHA SHARK and the Warner Bros. dramedy pilot STUDIO CITY, starring Heather Graham and Eric McCormack.
