MILFORD, UTAH – A small Utah town was given a Las Vegas celebration last Wednesday, September 30 as the D Las Vegas announced its sponsorship for the Wright family athletes during a special party at the Milford Recreation Complex. The Downtown Las Vegas hotel and casino will support the team of bronco riders, consisting of Jesse, Jake, Alex and Spencer Wright, when they compete at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, December 3 – 12.
During an exciting party in the family’s hometown, with a population of just under 1,500 people, the riders, as well as Rusty and Cody Wright, were honored by Mayor Nolan Davis. Joined by city officials, Mayor Davis officially declared September 30 “Wright Family Day.” The mayor was then accompanied by the D’s CEO, Derek Stevens, who announced their sponsorship of the Wright family athletes. Stevens presented the team with custom jackets from the D, and let the crowd know how excited and honored the property was to be a part of the family’s legacy.
Fun was had by attendees of all ages throughout the party, with guests feasting on food provided by Dickey’s BBQ. Children were entertained by inflatable jump houses, slides and a mechanical bull, while the crowd danced to the sounds of Las Vegas band, Voodoo Cowboys.
