Three Major Design Awards This Year for Stinson’s EnVi Nature-based Non-wovens
San Diego – CF Stinson, a leading resource for performance fabrics for contract, healthcare, hospitality, and education interiors based in Rochester Hills, MI, announced today that the company’s Sentry-HealthGuard and EnVi™ product lines captured two prestigious Nightingale awards at the annual Healthcare Design Conference.
CF Stinson swept the Nightingale Awards fabrics and textiles category with a Gold Award for Sentry-HealthGuard and a Silver Award for EnVi Nature-based Non-wovens. EnVi captured the Best of NeoCon Innovation award earlier this year, and is also finalist in the Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Awards.
Both award-winning collections can be viewed at CF Stinson’s booth (1319) at the Healthcare Design Conference, which is being held through November 18, 2014, at the San Diego Convention Center.
The Nightingale Awards Program is a juried competition that showcases the best in excellence and innovation in healthcare product design. The annual program, produced by Contract magazine in partnership with The Center for Health Design and The Healthcare Design Conference, aims to promote and recognize product design that contributes to the quality of healthcare. The jurors are healthcare architects, interior designers, and facilities managers.
Engineered for durability, beauty and comfort, CF Stinson’s Sentry-HealthGuard is specifically designed to withstand the rigorous cleaning and disinfecting required for healthcare interiors. Sentry-HealthGuard’s unique and thoroughly tested surface is highly resistant to damage and discoloration associated with a wide range of disinfectants and cleaners. Sentry-HealthGuard’s soothing colorways and smooth leather-like appearance add warmth and comfort to clinical environments.
Building on a legacy of innovation and sustainability, Stinson presents EnVi, the industry’s first collection of non-woven upholstery produced using 80 percent natural and renewable raw materials. These bio-synthetics provide a sustainable alternative to conventional vinyl and polyurethane while meeting the high performance demands for challenging commercial environments.
