Notes: Teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series will run the same Goodyear tire codes at Pocono this week . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that these teams have run at Pocono since 2012 . . . Pocono is the only track on which either of these tire codes are scheduled to be run this season . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners on all four tire positions at Pocono . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.

Notes: This is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that NASCAR Xfinity Series teams ran at Iowa this May . . . Xfinity teams have run this left-side tire code (D-4546) at Iowa since 2012 . . . this is the first season for this right-side code (D-4648) . . . this is also the same tire set-up that NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams ran here in June . . . as on most NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Iowa.
K&N Pro Series: Goodyear will also provide tires for the K&N race at Iowa race this week . . . this is the same combination of tires K&N teams ran at Iowa in May . . . the tire codes are D-2931 on the left-side and D-2934 on the right-side . . . this tire set-up is also run by K&N teams at New Hampshire and Phoenix . . . teams are allowed up to four sets each for the event at Iowa -- two for practice, one for qualifying/start of the race and one to change at mid-race break.
