(TRAVPR.COM) EXPERIENCE ALTERNATIVE LONDON WITH THE NEW GRAFFITI TOUR OF LONDON COURTESY OF LONDON DISCOUNT HOTEL

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED KINGDOM - June 16th, 2014 - This tour takes place each Thursday at 3pm and lasts approximately two and a half hours. Meeting point is outside the main entrance to Shoreditch High Street Station in Bethnal Green Road, London EC2. Here we meet our professional tour guide, who will lead us through the streets of East London, showing us works of graffiti art by many different famous and new artists including Banksey, Shepard Fairey and Space Invader but to name a few!

The roots of graffiti date back 40,000 years with the earliest drawings known as cave paintings and in most countries, the act of graffiti is still considered a form of defacement and vandalism. However graffiti art does express underlying social and political messages and a whole genre of artistic expression has blossomed on walls in cities all over the world – London is no exception and graffiti is now a widely acknowledged art form in the city with prolific works from a number of different, talented artists which we will discover on this interesting tour.
