NEW YORK, NY April 4, 2014  -- In the wake of yet another tragic mental health/possible PTSD related incident, Paige Valdiserri, Traumatic Stress and Intuitive Healing consultant, and author of the new book Messages from the Edge,  emphasizes  studies that increasingly show the benefits of alternative healing modalities to conquer mental and medical issues that don’t respond to medication.  Paige’s work in this arena is renowned. Where medications such as Ambien, used by the shooter in Fort Hood, can exacerbate behaviors, alternative healing methods such as those Paige is developing can change damaged lives – and save the lives of others.

For over a decade, Paige Valdiserri has worked with clients suffering or recovering from chronic stress and trauma due to war zones, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, medical/chronic illness, personal traumatic events or intense professional/corporate settings.  Her work has brought her to Iraq, the Pentagon, New York post 9/11 and many other locations where first responders are on the front lines.  Her work also includes creating behavioral health programs in various countries.  A board-certified expert in traumatic stress, she offers a combination of modalities including Chakra energy work, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Hypnosis/Past Life Regression/Meditation, Kundalini yoga techniques, Reiki, Subconscious Restructuring and Biodynamic Craniosacral Trauma Therapy.

Paige’s work with PTSD, complex PTSD, Acute Traumatic and Accumulative Stress and trauma has led her to create a specialized healing method, Energetic Body Dialogue, EBD. Unlike traditional methods, EBD works to align the patient with their body through physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic properties.  She believes that this is the best way to mitigate tendencies towards violence. By assessing all the components of a patient, Paige encourages a personalized approach which leads to wellness, self-empowerment and most importantly, re-connection to a body once detached from its wholeness.

Paige often partners with traditional and integrative and holistic medical doctors to apply her services to their field.  Over 16 years as a respected general practitioner MD, Dr. Hai Jin Kim has seen a shift in how alternative health is perceived and she has been integrating alternative modalities into her practice.  Dr. Kim refers her patients to Paige when she believes they need further help figuring out the root of the issue that is causing them distress.

Pagie has helped countless soldiers like Ivor Torres, as well as first responders.  Sgt. James McMichael, a law enforcement officer in Washington DC, was one of the first responders to the Pentagon on 9/11.  In the months and years that followed, McMichael struggled with PTSD and depression so severe that, at one point, he recalls, he sat on his couch with his gun in his hand, contemplating suicide.

These warriors cannot and should not be forgotten.  More to the point, there is treatment and help for these brave individuals.  Sgt. McMichael emerged from years of pain by working with Paige Valdiserri (M.Ed. LPC, NCC, BCETS, RMT), a Traumatic Stress and Intuitive Healing consultant. Valdiserri developed an innovative and original treatment called Energetic Body Dialogue(SM), which integrates Eastern and Western healing methods.

Paige Valdisseri is available as a media source to discuss her work with soldiers, law enforcement officials and others suffering from traumatic stress, mental illness and depressions, and the way in which EBD and other approaches to holistic healing could help answer many questions and help prevent future violence.
