Their elite cross-country mountain bike team will be participating in the event. The 12 elite riders from around the world will be heading to Star Lake in South Lake Tahoe over the weekend and each rider will be connected to the AFYA wireless monitoring System. Minute-by-minute physiological data will be sent back to the AFYA Health Portal for immediate analysis. The AFYA Portal will allow customers to immediately view all of the important physiological variables (VE, PC02, PO2, PH, HR, BP, Lactate Threshold, Predicted and Current VO2, Core Temperature, Altitude, Barometric pressure, Elevation Change, Percent Grade, Speed, Ambient Temperature) that are vital to human performance.
