Houlihan’s expands Cookies for a Cause campaign to St. Louis metro locations; will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis

Three area locations are giving you a reason to order dessert

ST. LOUIS (Aug. 1, 2016) – Beginning Aug. 1, St. Louis metro Houlihan’s are launching the Cookies for a Cause campaign. After an extremely successful eight weeks of testing in Chicagoland Houlihan’s, the brand is expanding the promotion to restaurants in Brentwood, Creve Coeur and Fairview Heights, Missouri. Each location will sell its signature, homemade cookies at lunch for 50 cents. 100 percent of the net proceeds will be donated to The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis is a local non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for member hospitals, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. CMN funds stay local and are equally divided to help the member hospitals acquire patient programs, equipment and critical facility renovations to improve the lives of hospitalized children.

Cookies for a Cause is the latest campaign from Houlihan’s to support community causes and outreach. Currently, many Houlihan’s locations nationwide serve as drop-off stations for wine bottle and sparkling wine corks through a partnership with ReCORK, a company dedicated to recycling and sustainable living. Individually, locations in Creve Coeur, Fairview Heights and Brentwood hosted Plate it Forward nights to benefit the Stray Rescue of St. Louis, the American Cancer Society, the Team Tori Foundation and Annie’s Hope.
