5 restaurants to donate a portion of April proceeds to local organization Kansas City Jazz ALIVE
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (April 14, 2016) – 39Rainbow, LANE4 Property Group’s mixed-use center at the corner of 39th Street and Rainbow Boulevard, will continue to host weekly, on-site jazz performances each Saturday in April, featuring the Hermon Mehari Quartet this Saturday, April 16.
Hermon Mehari is an international trumpet player based in Kansas City and a recent winner of the 2015 Carmine Caruso International Trumpet Competition. He is a performer, educator, composer, producer, country-wide panelist and previous director of the Kansas City High School All Star Jazz Ensemble.
The performances will take place in front of 39Rainbow restaurants Subway and Topp’d Pizza + Salads from 4 – 6 p.m. on April 16, 23 and 30. To further support jazz in Kansas City, all 39Rainbow restaurants will donate a portion of April sales to local jazz organization Kansas City Jazz ALIVE.
