(Las Vegas) – Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas today announced its  “Dive For A Change” Rally, a season kick-off event designed to help create a movement of kindness and anti-bullying amongst school-aged children. The rally will feature 11 local charities, speakers from Project 150 and The Center, live entertainment and a relay race where community children will help charities compete for a $1,000 prize.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 19 at Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas, located at 7055 S. Fort Apache Rd. The first 1,000 people to line up at the park gate and attend the rally will gain free entry to the park for the day. The event is geared towards children 17 and under, however parents and guardians are welcome. The park will open to the general public at 10:30 a.m.

“This anti-bullying/kindness rally is intended to spread awareness about how kids can get involved in their community, make a difference and combat bullying,” said Takuya Ohki, General Manager of Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas. “Our park is dedicated to creating opportunities for our community to learn and grow together, and our theme for this season is to stand up to bullying and be kind with your words and actions. We’re proud to host this wonderful event.”
