Pioneer in carbon wheels invests in elite women’s road racing team in inaugural TOU women’s race.
Sandy, UT – (Aug. 4, 2014) Team TIBCO, an elite United States women’s road racing team, will be competing in the inaugural Tour of Utah women’s race thanks to the support of team sponsor and pioneer in carbon wheel technology, Reynolds Cycling.

Overall team winner of the USA Cycling National Racing Calendar, Team TIBCO consists of overall individual women’s NRC winner Lauren Stephens as well as Krista Doebel-Hickok, Lauren Stephens, Patricia Schwager, Sara Headley, Sam Schneider and Skylar Schneider.
“In order for women’s cycling and its audience to grow, an investment needs to be made by the industry,” said Rob Aguero, key account and OEM sales manager for Reynolds. “We’re proud to make that investment.”
The team will be on site at the Reynolds booth near the start at Miller Motorsports Park in Toole, UT, signing posters from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. the day of the race.
The first women’s race in the Tour of Utah’s 10-year history begins Wednesday, August 6 at 1 p.m. The race will feature professional and elite women’s teams competing on the Stage 3 finishing circuit, a 15-lap race on the 2.2-mile course.
