Hope Grace Unity

The purpose of the walk is two-fold: To offer comfort and resources to survivors of suicide loss; and to provide education and awareness about suicide, and how everyone can be involved in reducing suicide in our community and state

Unity is defined as: the state of being in full agreement. We are taking a stand in unity today – one voice can be heard, but it takes many to make the waves of change.

To signify our unified front this year, we are going to have only one color shirt for all walkers. As we look around the park that Sunday morning, we will see a sea of yellow...symbolizing one fight, one mission.

We know that many of you are part of a team of walkers and might like to create your own team image. We encourage you to show your team’s individuality by wearing colored bandannas, tutus, wigs, epic socks, capes, bright shorts, and more.

We hope you will join us in standing together in one mission to offer hope to those that are courageously living with a mental illness each day and comfort to those loved ones that have felt the unspeakable loss of someone to suicide.
