Come to Alpha, a free 10-week course on the basics of the Christian faith, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Rd., Golden Valley, Minn. The course is on Sundays, Feb. 9-April 13, 5-7:30 p.m., and includes an optional low-cost dinner, presentation and small-group discussion. Childcare included.
