With FBMI (Fatima Bint Mohamed Initiative), consumers have the option to buy social consciously.
The awarded initiative produces and sells traditionally hand-woven Afghan carpets while empowering Afghan women thru employment in the weaving industry. 80% of the sales of the carpets are redistributed to FBMI employees in the form of salary while also providing them critical social services including training, healthcare and education.
