Upscale Southern-Inspired Franchise Targets Indianapolis for Egg-spansion

Indianapolis, IN - Another Broken Egg Cafe, an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch franchise, celebrated for its charming atmosphere and diversified menu options, is targeting the Indianapolis market for growth. With one location open on the north side of Indianapolis, and plans to open additional locations in Fishers and Avon, the welcoming lifestyle brand is quickly becoming a leader in the Indianapolis dining scene.

“Indianapolis residents will quickly discover that our southern-inspired cuisine and warm atmosphere is truly a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Kevin Armantrout, President of Hoosier Hospitality Group. “Another Broken Egg Cafe is a phenomenal concept, and Indianapolis possesses a lot of opportunity for growth. Not only does our model boast universal appeal, but the brunch sector is still untapped in the market. We are eager to continue growing throughout the region and become the standard for quality breakfast, brunch and lunch.”

Ruth's Chris Steak House veterans Kevin Armantrout and Larry Griggers of Hoosier Hospitality Group currently co-own and operate one location in Indianapolis along with two in New Orleans, and are focused on expanding the brand into several other markets. To assist them in reaching their goal of opening up to 20 additional locations by 2023, the partners will be seeking out qualified retail space, partnering with seasoned operators, and entering the hotel scene. They recently partnered with LinGate Hospitality to bring the brand to the Holiday Inn Owensboro Riverfront in February of 2015, which will be the first location to open in Kentucky. The mutually-exclusive partnership benefits both parties by allowing hotels to concentrate on guest satisfaction, while Another Broken Egg Cafe focuses on providing travelers with an exceptional dining experience in the convenience of their hotel.

“In addition to our extensive breakfast and lunch menu, we are targeting hotels and resorts with our nontraditional model, which includes our full café along with dinner service and a full bar,” said Nick Binnings, Vice President of Brand Development. “While many brands are trying to break into the breakfast day-part, our flexible business model allows franchise owners to satisfy a growing audience by entering the hospitality industry while carving out our niche in the casual dining sector.”

Launched in 1996, Another Broken Egg Cafe has become a darling of the South and Southeast. In addition to the award-winning dishes and charming ambiance, customers can belly up to the full-service bar and enjoy house-infused bloody marys and mimosas, along with a rotating list of locally brewed beers and spirits. With 36 locations across the U.S., the renowned brand plans to establish 100 locations in the next four years.
