Lew Sid preps for release of new single, "Big Leagues" Ft. B.A.S.I.C.

Virginia Beach hip hop lyricist readies new music for release

Los Angeles, CA - August 16, 2016 -- Hip hop artist Lew Sid has announced the upcoming release of his new single titled, "Big Leagues." A fiery collab featuring fellow Aspire to Inspire Music Group artist B.A.S.I.C., the release is a boisterous track showcasing Lew Sid’s diverse lyrical style and unique flow. The new record will debut August 23rd on iTunes, Tidal and Spotify.

Produced by BeatsCraze, "Big Leagues" is a turnt up song delivering nothing but maximum voltage. The song’s hook, "Welcome to the big leagues, lil boy - you’d don’t want it with me, lil boy," serves as an almost taunting like chant. A talented writer, Lew Sid has dropped similar heat in the past. "The Whole Squad" rapper is known for his signature musical creations that feature much lyrical fuel, tight hooks, and a flawless beat.

Lew Sid, whose name is derived from the word "lucid", began writing and rhyming during his childhood. As he grew older, the Virginia Beach-native continued to express interest in perfecting his craft. Inspired by much of the music of the 90’s and early 2000’, Lew Sid sought to create meaning music that would inspire and uplift.

His 2015 hit record, "Whole Squad" gained notable attention throughout the state of Virginia garnering both radio spins and fans alike. The single along with its video has been featured on WorldStar Hip Hop, played locally throughout the area’s hottest nightclubs and radio stations, and was also the music of choice at the Portland Trailblazers home games. Now with the scheduled release of "Big Leagues" underway, Lew Sid can focus on finalizing the final production of the music video.
