The Lighthouse Church Partners With American Heart Association “Go Red Sunday” Encouraging Women to Take Action Against Heart Disease!

By partnering with the American Heart Association,we are joining together to protect women’s health!

(February 3, 2015- HOUSTON,TX)  Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the U.S., claiming more than 460,000 lives each year. Its victims could include one of the lovely ladies sitting in the pew beside you.

On Sunday, February 8, 2015, The Lighthouse Church and Pastor Keion Henderson invite Houston and Humble residents to raise awareness of this devastating disease by partnering with our congregation for The American Heart Association’s “Go Red Sunday” event. Participants are encouraged to join members of  The Lighthouse Church in wearing red to promote the event and to serve as a collective rallying point in the fight against heart disease.

Pastor Keion Henderson will take up the message of the American Heart Association’s fight against women’s heart disease in a special educational sermon. Members of the congregation who have battled heart disease will also be encouraged to share their experiences with their church family in recognition of their triumph over illness.
