The Rocky Mountain Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (RMACRAO) has elected Denver School of Nursing’s (DSN) Senior Registrar, Katie Pederson, as the association’s new vice president, said Dr. Marcia Bankirer, president, DSN (www.denverschoolofnursing.edu).
The association shares national best practices among its membership. RMACRAO helps higher education institutions develop accurate enrollment forecasting methods, strategies to help students stay on track for graduation goals and management techniques for compliance, academic record keeping and monitoring and modifying academic policies and curriculum.
Before becoming Registrar at DSN in 2013, Pederson served as Online Registrar for Lincoln College of New England. Prior to that, she was Registrar for Argosy University and Associate Registrar for Jones International University.
She holds her master of business administration from Argosy University and her bachelor of business administration from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. A member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrar and Admissions Officers, she served as treasurer for its Rocky Mountain chapter in 2011.
