June 23, 2014 (Jay, VT)- Jay Peak Resort today announced that two of the four season pass categories to its Pump House Indoor Waterpark have already sold out. This is the first summer that the resort has offered an all-access pass to the popular attraction and demand has proven to be stronger than anticipated. The sell-out happened in under two weeks.
A Pump House season pass provides unlimited access to the 60,000-square foot waterpark, the outdoor pool and the outdoor hot tub. The passes also include a number of additional benefits including a free tram ride, one complimentary admission to the Ice Haus for public skate/stick-and-puck, 10% off food and beverage at the Warming Shelter snack bar, and a one-time “Bring a Friend” 50% off ticket to the Pump House.
The most popular all-access passes currently are the Four-Packs. These are four season passes that have to be purchased in a single transaction with just one credit card, but allow four related or non-related individuals to buy as a group and get a significant discount from what they’d pay if purchasing as an individual. An individual season pass is $89. The first two tiers of Four-Packs, which have sold out, offered a per person rate $49.75 and $62.25, respectively. The third tier of Four Packs, which has under 200 units left, offers a per person rate of $74.75.
“Since opening the Pump House in 2011, we’ve seen it become more and more popular as a summer hangout with families in the surrounding communities,” said JJ Toland, Jay Peak’s Director of Communications. “The parent’s like to come up and lay out by the outdoor pool while the kids enjoy the park. But we didn't expect it to be this popular. Even after the final Four-Pack tier sells out, we expect that individual pass sales will be strong because $89 for a summertime of fun isn't a bad deal.”
All Pump House season passes are god through November 15.
