5 seasonally inspired cocktails also join the menu
LEAWOOD, Kan. (June 14, 2016) – Houlihan’s Restaurants will launch its summer menu nationwide on Tuesday, June 14. The menu will introduce two starters and three entrées to be enjoyed alongside its new cocktails. The seasonal dishes will be available through September at any of its 72 restaurants. Prices may vary at select locations.
New Menu Items:
Avocado Toast: fresh avocado with jalapeno, onion and cilantro on toasted Turano rustic bread, fresh sliced burrata cheese, extra virgin olive oil drizzle, fresh cracked black pepper, parsley, $10.95
Crispy BBQ Carnitas Lettuce Wraps: crispy, slow-roasted BBQ carnitas, lettuce cups, jicama radish slaw with lemon vinaigrette, pickled red onion, BBQ sauce, $11.75
Tilapia with Citrus Crab Salad: pan seared tilapia, lump blue crab citrus salad with oranges, cilantro, red peppers and green onion, charred pineapple brown rice, small $14.95 | large $16.95
Korean Chicken (grilled or fried): marinated chicken breast, gochujang sauce, charred pineapple brown rice, garlic green beans, pineapple relish. Available grilled or fried, $15.50
Bucatini Marinara: traditionally-prepared central Italian dish with long, hollow-center pasta, oven roasted tomatoes, marinara, herb bread crumbs, garlic whipped ricotta, $14.95

Blue Taboo: Bacardi Pineapple Rum, blue curacao, club soda and Owl’s Brew Coco-Lada – black tea handcrafted in small batches with coconut water, chai spices and pineapple juice, $9.00
Cucumber Mint Refresher: Hendrick’s gin, fresh squeezed lemon juice, mint simple syrup, La Marca Prosecco, $9.50
Grapefruit Jalapeno Cocktail: Deep Eddy Ruby Red grapefruit vodka, fresh lime juice, soda water, dash of simple syrup, and jalapeno wheel garnish for a kick. Served up or on the rocks, $9.00
Seasonal Whiskey Smash: Knob Creek Rye Whiskey, raspberries, mint, house sour mix, Gosling’s ginger beer, $10.00
Raspberry Peach Sangria: Grand Marnier Signature Collection Raspberry Peach liqueur, Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling and fresh sour, shaken with raspberries, $9.50
Two of the newest drinks, The Blue Taboo and Cucumber Mint Refresher, will debut on the summer specials menu following four weeks of testing in Dallas and Overland Park, Kansas. The Blue Taboo is a tiki cocktail featuring Owl’s Brew, a handcrafted tea mixer, while the Cucumber Mint Refresher combines fresh ingredients, gin, and prosecco into a simple, refreshing cocktail. The Grapefruit Jalapeno Cocktail, Seasonal Whiskey Smash and Raspberry Peach Sangria will be added to select location’s cocktail menus.
