Representatives of Castlewood and The Highlands are excited to be a part of this year's event. CEO Nancy Albus said she is proud to support the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness.
"The Alliance has been instrumental in the prevention of eating disorders, as well as providing education about treatment for those struggling with an eating disorder," said Albus. "At Castlewood and The Highlands, we treat both men and women who experience the pain of living with an eating disorder. We are happy to provide support to organizations like the Alliance that are working toward more awareness and better treatment for these disorders."
The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2000. The Alliance uses presentations, support groups, advocacy, and legislation to educate the public about eating disorders.
