Heart Hays Releases Her Latest New Single “Got Your Back” this summer.

07/15/2014 - Los Angeles, CA - Heart Hays singer-songwriter from Austin Texas, releases her new single “Got Your Back” this summer.  The song “Got Your Back” includes a harmonic combination with acoustic guitar and Heart’s powerful vocal range which will definitely impress her audiences.

The emotional song “Got Your Back” was written by Heart and produced by Andrew Lane.  Andrew is a multi-platinum and Billboard Award winning music producer who has worked with renowned artists in the music industry, including Backstreet Boys, Keith Sweat, Becky G, Miley Cyrus and many more.  Andrew is also known for his work on movie soundtracks including Disney's “Hannah Montana” and “High School Musical”.  He is the senior vice-president of A&R at Blast Music.  Andrew states “Heart is amazing, her energy and the way she sings the song will touch many lives for years.  I love working with Heart she has great drive she is the complete package”.  Andrew is really touched by the excellent work done by Heart.  Andrew has also said “This song can touch so many people especially the women and even young girls that are going through abusive relationships".

This song is about domestic violence and has inspiring lyrics.  For the first time Heart performed the song for Safe Passage’s 14th annual gala which supports domestic violence survivors and was held at The Montage in Beverly Hills.  She was introduced by anchor women Pat Harvey from CBS News.  The song is Heart’s way of expressing to those facing domestic violence that you don’t have to stay and deal with it you can leave. 

Heart previously released song “Straight for the Heart” has become an international sensation that has gone viral and was picked up by GODiy Music.  The song is playing on Kissfm and has been featured on MTV.  Heart has been working non-stop on her music to develop a unique sound that will set her apart from other artists. Heart will start her tour this September and will be meeting with local radio and news stations across the southern states.  Heart is hard at work preparing for new music, videos, and touring.
