The St. Croix Food & Wine Experience started with a one-night event, A Taste of St. Croix, 14 years ago. With tickets selling out in 20 minutes, new events were added and in 2008 the week of food and fun was named the St. Croix Food & Wine Experience. Events include a food and drink filled golf tournament, friendly cooking competition with celebrity chefs, wine dinners featuring guest chefs and winemakers, kids cooking class and demo, and more. Celebrity chefs and wine makers from all over the world support the events by sharing their time and talents. In addition to preparing amazing culinary experiences, guest chefs teach a class at the St. Croix Educational Complex, a public high-school which has a culinary program. The events raise funds and awareness for The St. Croix Foundation, a community non-profit that focuses on education, community revitalization, economic development as well as public safety and fiscal sponsorship.

Duff Goldman founded his Baltimore based bakery, Charm City Cakes after discovering the time demands from his day job in the kitchen weren't allowing him the freedom to try his hand at a new career: playing bass as a working musician in a rock band. As he and his team of friends and musicians gained national attention by pushing the boundaries of what a cake could be, Food Network tapped Duff and his staff to star in Ace of Cakes. After six years and ten seasons, the show is still wildly popular not only in reruns, but in over 40 countries worldwide. In 2011 the show saw its United Kingdom premiere draw record numbers for Food Network’s latest overseas venture: Food Network UK.
In the Summer of 2012, Duff opened a West Coast satellite of Charm City Cakes in Los Angeles, Charm City Cakes West. In addition to the new bakery, Duff also stars in the Food Network series, The Best Thing I Ever Ate and Sugar High, and has been featured in episodes of Iron Chef America, The Next Food Network Star, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Drives, Chefs vs. City, Cupcake Wars, Chopped, and has just completed several guest-starring roles in both TV and film.
In 2011, Duff was nominated for two James Beard Foundation awards for both Best TV Food Personality/Host and Best Television Program. In 2012, Duff debuted Duff’s Cake Mix, a do-it-yourself cake shop in the heart of Hollywood. Currently, Duff and his Charm City Cakes brand have formed successful licensing partnerships with several companies including Gartner Studios, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, Godiva, and more. In addition to owning and operating Charm City Cakes and Duff’s Cake Mix, Duff is also a sculptor, artist, and musician, has an affinity for wearing his signature hockey jerseys, and is an all around good guy with the cleanest hands in town.
