AAL USA EMPLOYEES LEAD TEAM TO RUGBY CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Alabama Small Business is Key Sponsor of Top Seeded Rugby Club

HUNTSVILLE, Ala (April 12, 2016) – AAL USA, Inc. (AAL USA), a Huntsville-based aviation and aerospace small business, is proud to support its executive leadership and staff during the upcoming rugby championships this Saturday, April 16, 2016. Several AAL USA employees, including the Chief Executive Officer, are starters with the Huntsville Rugby Football Club (RFC) which is closing out a successful nearly-undefeated season in the True South Union Division III League.

The upcoming sporting event will be held in Huntsville as part of the True South Union Rugby Conference Final Four Championships held at Rick Cooper Memorial Field, located on Triana Boulevard, two miles south of Drake Avenue.

AAL USA is the primary sponsor for the Huntsville RFC by providing the team with uniforms and support equipment. The Company also employs the Club’s coach and other players, including a prop, two centers, the fullback and two substitutes.

“Finishing the season as the top seed allows us to host the Conference Championships and that home field advantage will be critical for our mental game,” said Paul Daigle, Chief Executive Officer of AAL USA and starting flanker for the Huntsville RFC. “Our matches this weekend are against some very solid clubs from the Southeast.”

“The competition will surely be fierce,” said Steve Jenkins, President of the Huntsville Rugby Football Club. “However, our 35-member team continuously shows lots of grit and depth and I’m confident we will finish the season on top.”

Huntsville takes the field to play the other top conference seeds in preliminary pool play on Saturday, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Those teams include Chattanooga, Crescent City (New Orleans) and Montgomery. Huntsville RFC will play its first match against Crescent City at 12:00 pm.

If the team is victorious, they will play the winner of the Montgomery vs. Chattanooga fixture on Sunday at 11:00 am. The winner of the Final Four will go on to compete in the All South Championship in Montgomery, Alabama later this month.
