Portland, Ore. – Danner Boots announces the all new Mt. Tabor series and the expansion of the Stumptown collection’s Tramline and Forest Heights boot families for its spring/summer 2014 lifestyle lineup. Known for waterproof boots built to withstand the elements, Danner now offers a spring/summer collection featuring new silhouettes designed for all-day comfort and versatile wear in warmer weather. The new collection will be available online and at select retailers April 22, 2014.

The new Mt. Tabor features a classic oxford pattern and 2.5-inch height for everyday casual wear. The series includes two styles with rich Horween leather uppers and Vibram® 232 mini lug outsoles, and two versions with classic suede uppers are matched with Armortred outsoles. All Mt. Tabor boots are unlined and feature Danner’s 270-degree stitch construction. Suede versions retail for $230, and Horween styles retail for $250.

Danner also expands the Forest Heights series with the Forest Heights Pittock. This new style substitutes the all-leather upper with a combination of full-grain leather and wax canvas side panels, while maintaining the 270-degree stitch construction and Vibram® 232 mini lug outsole. The Forest Heights Pittock retails for $260. The new collection also includes the Tramline Terwilliger, which features a rich, blue leather upper, leather lining and Vibram Cristy outsole. About Danner Stumptown:

The Stumptown series is a Portland-made boot collection inspired by the original Danner patterns, brought back to life with a modern twist. Partnering with innovative designers, Stumptown explores modern takes on product from a simpler time – a time that Danner has not forgotten, a time when product was built to last. Since 1932, Danner has used only the best materials and only the most skilled craftsmen to build its boots. In a similar fashion, the Stumptown series is crafted to the highest standards out of Danner’s Portland, Ore. factory. Some of the classic Danner silhouettes reinvented for the Stumptown series include the Danner Light, the Mountain Light and the Mountain Trail.
