LAS VEGAS – Community Counseling Center of Southern Nevada has appointed Terry Guesman as development director.
In the role, Guesman will contribute to the organization’s continued growth and success by raising community awareness of the nonprofit, working with various philanthropic leaders to secure funding for mental health and substance abuse treatment as well as facilitating agency events and fundraisers. His previous roles include serving as the development officer for United Way of Southern Nevada and as the assistant director of development and alumni relations for the Lee Business School at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
An Ohio native, Guesman holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Kent State University. It was at Kent State where he gained interest in community and social issues during an internship for Ohio Senator Kevin Coughlin.
