“We are happy to report a more than 30% increase in sales at Park Springs in 2013 compared to 2012,” says Isakson. “This can be attributed to a number of different factors, such as a rise in home prices, a better performing stock market and an overall increase in consumer confidence. Park Springs sold 42 homes in the past twelve months, and our current inventory is at its lowest point in four years.”
The improved housing market means that senior homeowners have been able to get a fair and realistic price for their home, and thus are able to sell more quickly. Park Springs has welcomed new Members from US States as far away as California and Massachusetts, and from nearby Georgia cities like Decatur, Fairburn and Woodstock.
Isakson expresses optimism for Park Springs’ continued growth in 2014. “Park Springs is one of the very few luxury continuing care retirement communities in the Southeast. We offer the finest in active, independent living and our Members enjoy a resort-style lifestyle within our 54-acre gated community,” notes Isakson. “Word is getting out that the living is good here!”
