Celebrate mom at J. Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood with 3-course Mother’s Day prix-fixe menu

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (April 27, 2016) – J. Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood will celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8 with a $45 three-course prix fixe menu and extended hours. Diners are invited to treat mom to a combination of land and sea favorites, including J. Gilbert’s award-winning steaks and fresh seafood.

J. Gilbert’s will open early for the occasion at 11 a.m., serving its prix fixe menu and regular menu items until 9 p.m. Mother’s Day menu specifics:

First Course
Diners choose one of the following:

 

Baby Greens – sundried cherries, pine nuts, parmigiana reggiano, balsamic vinaigrette

 

Caesar Salad – parmigiana reggiano, garlic croutons, asiago cheese crisp, anchovies

 

Wedge Salad – smoked bacon, maytag crumbles, tomatoes, red onion, buttermilk blue dressing

 

Maryland Crab Bisque

 


Second Course
Diners choose one of the following:

 

8-ounce Center Cut Filet Mignon – Yukon mashed potatoes, green beans with pecans, rosemary demi

 

14-ounce Bone-In Duroc Pork Chop – Yukon mashed potatoes, green beans with pecans

 

Seared Georges Bank Sea Scallops – lobster risotto, champagne beurre blanc

 

Maple Plank Roasted Salmon – bourbon glaze, Yukon mashed potatoes, green beans with pecans

 

Petite Filet with Seared Sea Scallops or Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes – Yukon mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus

 

6-ounce Filet & Lobster Tail – served with choice of two seasonal sides
