Orange Applebee’s “Calling” For Sports Fans and Collectors

ORANGE, CT –Celebrity photos, sports items, and local memorabilia are among dozens of items that customers can bid on at the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar in Orange, CT. Now through Sunday, July 7 at 8 p.m., as the restaurant prepares for its upcoming remodel, items that currently adorn the restaurant’s walls will be up for auction. All proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish® Connecticut.

“Since we began remodeling our restaurants, we’ve had hundreds of patrons come in and purchase memorabilia that pay homage to their favorite stars and local teams,” said Stephanie Griffin, director of marketing and public relations, T.L. Cannon Companies. “We want to give customers in the Orange market an opportunity to join the fun and take advantage of some unique shopping, all while benefitting a deserving organization.”

All bids must be made through the Applebee’s restaurant manager on-duty by 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 7 and items must be paid for in cash at time of pick-up. Customers can pick up purchased items during business hours on Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10.

“The money raised through this auction will help grant wishes of eligible children in our community,” said Kim Smith, Development Director, Make-A-Wish Connecticut. “We thank Applebee’s for their support and encourage all members of our community to bring their friends and family out to enjoy a great meal while granting wishes for our kids.”

The silent auction will take place at the Applebee’s restaurant located on 526 Boston Post Road, Orange, CT 06477. For more information, please call (203) 795-5762.
