Meanwhile, total profit margins reached 51.79 billion RMB (US$8.09 billion), up 21.9% year-on-year, while the total tax paid by home appliances brands in China hit 24.33 billion (US$3.8 billion), up 22.9% year-on-year. Sales of home appliances continued to be brisk from January to August, with sales ratio of 96.7%.
