The Riverton High School’s annual Spring Fling went off without a hitch yesterday and weather even cooperated giving them a moment of sun. A variety of activities were available for students to participate in from about noon to the end of the school day. There was archery, bean bag toss, painting, bike jumps, water baseball, slip and slides, Zumba, bubble soccer and many other activities available to the students to participate in.
Megan Mosbrucker with her DECA students along with Samantha Howerton and her Leadership students put in many hours to organize the fun event. According to Margaret Murray, a senior English teacher, the event is a great break for students, especially the seniors, in the mist of finals and the end of school. It’s a moral boost and chance for the students to have fun and develop camaraderie together.
