(Gillette, Wyo.) - Let a child passenger technician check your child’s safety restraint. Make sure your child safety seat is up to date and installed properly with no recalls at the Safe Kids Campbell County Child Safety Seat Check on Saturday, April 30 from 10-2 pm at the Campbell County Public Health Parking Lot, 2301 S. 4-J Road. Participants are asked to bring the child, their current car seat and the vehicle that they normally travel in for the check. Inspection time is around 30 minutes. Also running the same day: The City of Gillette (Government)'s Stop and Drop, which offers citizens the opportunity to recycle consumer electronics, dispose of clean food waste (produce, coffee grounds, egg shells) and offers a prescription drug / over-the-counter drug take back. These events are free to the public.
Safe Kids Campbell County provides our community with free car seat checks, bike rodeos and much more to help educate our children on preventing accidental injuries. Weekly inspections may also be scheduled at 307.688.SAFE (7233). Inspections are done by appointment only and take place on Wednesdays at the EMS Base at 502 Stocktrail Avenue in Gillette.
