New York, NY – January 21, 2014 – ELSA AND ME is pleased to announce the launch of its new RUTH collection. Outfitted with pleats and a flouncy flare, the RUTH dress effortlessly combines the idea of work and play.
Named for founder Maja Svensson’s paternal grandmother, Ruth, the new collection channels Ruth’s gregarious and fun-loving character.
“When Grandma Ruth was in her late 70’s, she would race with my sister and me in our soapbox car, help us out with creative projects, or practice soccer with me in the garden,” Svensson said. “She would come and spend each summer with my sister and me and was always one of us kids. She joined in for whatever adventure we were looking for next.”
