1st Franklin Financial Corporation Awards $35,000 to Camp Twin Lakes

Last week, 1st Franklin Financial Corporation, a consumer finance company specializing in personal loans, retail sales financing and investment securities, awarded Camp Twin Lakes a $35,000 grant to support the Camp Twin Lakes Camper Scholarship Fund.

Camp Twin Lakes (CTL) partners with nearly 60 nonprofit organizations – each serving a different population – to provide year-round medically supported camp experiences for children from across the state of Georgia with serious illnesses, disabilities and other life challenges.

Through the CTL Camper Scholarship Fund, Camp Twin Lakes subsidizes 80% of the direct camp costs for every camper served ($800 per week of camp). Since its founding more than 20 years ago, CTL has continued to provide these subsidies for every camper served thanks to the generous support of donors like 1st Franklin Financial Corporation. 1st Franklin Financial Corporation’s donation will help to send nearly 45 children to Camp Twin Lakes for a full week of camp.

“Our campers remain at the core of everything we do, and we are so touched that 1st Franklin Financial Corporation believes in our mission to serve children across Georgia,” said Eric Robbins, Executive Director of Camp Twin Lakes. “This grant presents us with the opportunity to continue to provide meaningful support to our campers, Partner organizations, and the local community.”
