Hammerquist Studios Heats Up With New Business and New Hires

SEATLLE (July 30, 2014) Hammerquist Studios, the active lifestyle branding and interactive design firm, continues to gain momentum, adding numerous new clients and four new staff members in the past few months. The studio, which recently relocated to a larger office space in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood, specializes in adventure travel and outdoor sports markets.

“Our interactive campaigns and our web development capabilities have resonated with a growing list of new clients and our existing clients, so we’ve staffed up, tapping into the terrific talent pool in our area,” states agency founder Fred Hammerquist.

Recent account and project wins for Hammerquist include a project for Nike+ to design and build a presentation app for their internal teams to improve the design innovation process. For Club Intrawest, Hammerquist was contracted to redesign the information architecture and user experience of their members’ website with the goal of streamlining content and creating more efficient purchase funnels. Other recent web development projects include a new site for Werner Paddles, a crowd-sourcing site for Columbia Crest, a new microsite for Polartec, which will roll into a complete site redesign and build this fall, and finally, a digital marketing campaign for SOG Knives & Tools.

Additionally, eVent Fabrics retained Hammerquist to launch a new identity for the brand at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer tradeshow, followed by a complete overhaul of the brand’s messaging strategy, website and marketing materials.

New team members at Hammerquist include senior designer John Ide, project manager Erin Folk, developer Jordan Hunter and project manager Lillian Brunner. Prior to joining Hammerquist, Ide worked as the creative director for Ex Officio where he recently implemented a new brand identity across their entire marketing mix. Erin Folk brings over 10 years of experience working with K2 and Stanley. Developer Jordan Hunter brings cutting-edge development skills to Hammerquist. And, Lillian Brunner, who started as an administrative assistant, has been promoted to project manager.
