10k Open Water Swim in the Iconic London Royal Docks
– Sunday September 4th 2016
Release published – London, UK – Tuesday June 2016 This is a London City 10k open water swim race. This challenge can be taken on as an individual or in relay teams of 3 or 5 people. This is not for the faint-hearted, working towards a training plan is an important part of the challenge! The race will start in the majestic Royal Victoria Dock, taking you through the Royal Albert Dock, finally into the King George V Dock and to your finish line.
This is the first time a 10k event has incorporated all three of these stunning locations. The event is run by Lovesportsevents and safety and oversight provided by NOWCA. Head of NOWCA Rick Kiddle (Former British Triathlon Champion) has been instrumental in setting up this exciting event.
Kiddle said “It’s the beating heart of the city, a vibrant and iconic location. Combined with the challenge and fun of open water swimming, the amazing backdrop of the Docks will give competitors a truly unique experience. A huge tick on any swimmers bucket list.” Contact information For event information, booking and prices - http://bit.ly/dock2dock
