Men’s Grooming Leader Wahl Rewards Facial Hair Enthusiasm

STERLING, Ill. (July 18, 2014) – Men’s grooming leader Wahl celebrates facial hair enthusiasm—and rewards it. The company’s latest contest asks participants to enter by taking photos showing their love of mustaches, beards, goatees or anything in between, and to upload the photos to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #WahlGroomedContest. The contest runs through Oct. 14, 2014, and one winner will be selected each week to receive a Wahl trimmer.

“Facial hair is a great way to express your personal style and personality,” said Steven Yde, director of marketing for Wahl. “Not only can it portray a look, it can portray an attitude; this is why so many people, men and women alike, develop an affinity for facial hair. This contest is designed for these people.”

 Winners of the #WahlGroomedContest don’t have to sport facial hair, but they must demonstrate enthusiasm for it in a creative and unique way. To give participants inspiration, the contest features weekly themes, including summer BBQ, Oktoberfest, pets and more. The themes revolve around monthly happenings as well as the locals of Wahl’s Face the Day Tour, an annual pilgrimage where Wahl’s mobile barbershop travels to some of the most facial hair friendly cities in America offering guys free trims and grooming advice.
