Tarrytown, New York – November 7, 2014 -- The International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) recently announced the theme for their 2015 European meeting – Medical Publications for Better Patient Care: Integrity, Innovation, and Impact.
“The upcoming meeting will be held in London on January 20th and 21nd, and will acknowledge the potential of publications to inform treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes,” said Laura McGovern, Chair of this year’s Programme Committee.
McGovern believes the upcoming meeting is of particular interest as it will include patient representatives as presenters and panelists, more interactive sessions including roundtable discussions, and a keynote presentation featuring a dialogue between a practicing physician and a patient activist.
“I am really excited about what we have been able to put together and am particularly looking forward to the session talking about publications in specialist areas, as this year it will focus on vaccines, orphan drugs and generics,” McGovern said.
