Gardner Denver Counts Down to The Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville NASCAR® Nationwide® Series Race June 21 at Road America

Milwaukee, Wis., May 21, 2014…. Gardner Denver, Inc., a leading worldwide manufacturer of highly engineered compressors, blowers and pumps for industrial, medical, environmental, transportation, food and other industries, is counting down to the Saturday, June 21 NASCAR® Nationwide® Series race at Road America, The Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville. Gardner Denver is the title sponsor of the race, taking place in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and broadcast live on ABC-TV.

The Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville will feature a 50-lap format on Road America’s legendary four-mile, 14-turn road course. Race fans will have the opportunity to watch NASCAR’s future stars as they test their skills on one of the nation’s most storied circuits that separates the good from the great drivers. Positioned for a 2:06 p.m. CT start time, the featured event is slotted in between races from both the Pirelli World Challenge and the SCCA Trans-Am Series, providing fans with a full day of action-packed racing.

To build momentum for the race, the company will launch The Gardner Denver 200 website, on June 1, 2014. The Gardner Denver 200 website will feature everything fans need to know as they gear up for the race, such as information about ticket packages and additional weekend attractions including fan activities, camping and more. Advanced ticket pricing applies now through June 12, 2014, and children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult. Tickets can be purchased through the Road America website.

The company also announced the launch of Facebook and Twitter accounts to engage with fans as they look forward to The Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville.

The ABC broadcast kicks off at 1:45 p.m. CT, with the green flag dropping at 2:06 p.m. CT Saturday, June 21 for The Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville NASCAR Nationwide Series race. The race weekend begins with Pirelli World Challenge action on Friday, June 20, followed by more incredible door-to-door Pirelli World Challenge excitement on Saturday morning.
