Katie Whitlach is hard at work preparing for Parenting Expo's (www.parentingexpo.com) first stop - Pittsburgh. Coming to the Monroeville Convention Center March 8 - 9, Parenting Expo is the one event that is all about parenting. A two-day family-friendly event, parents, grandparents, caregivers and educators will have an opportunity to receive up-to-date information on what’s important to them right now – from prenatal care to raising teens. In addition, attendees will walk away with meaningful coupons, giveaways, goody bags full of products from exhibitors, and opportunities to win prizes throughout the expo.
Most recently, Whitlach was co-owner of urban mommies, where she managed tours of Pittsburgh attractions for parents of preschool children. Her professional background also includes family law and teaching high school.
Whitlatch is actively involved in the Jewish community of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the executive committees and Boards of Directors of the Hillel Jewish University Center and the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Hillel International.
A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and admitted to the Bars of both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Whitlatch lives in the Highland Park area of Pittsburgh with her husband, Randy, and their son, Nate.
In addition to Pittsburgh, Parenting Expo will be presented in the following Midwestern cities in 2014: Cleveland, Columbus (Ohio), Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Parenting Expo is owned and operated by Akron, Ohio-based Blue Sky Events (www.blueksyevents7.com). The team at Blue Sky Events brings a combined 150 years of event, sales and marketing experience to the Parenting Expo series.
