#Count2aMillion – That’s NOT the Ziva We Wanted

On January 5, 2014 Operation BringBackCote (OpBBC) proudly inaugurated #Count2aMillion designed to focus attention on the loss of beloved character Ziva David from the CBS hit police procedural NCIS with a million goldfish.

Inspiration for the #Count2aMillion campaign came from a recent interview quote from show runner Gary Glasberg -

“If you’ve got Kate on one side of the bowl, it’s only logical who’s on the other side…” show boss Gary Glasberg teases. “You can guess what the other goldfish’s name is.”

#Count2aMillion aims to creatively channel the frustrations of fans and create a paper fish market in the office of CBS President Leslie Moonves by sending a million goldfish in origami, cracker or any paper form with written wishes expressing why Ziva and Ms. de Pablo are desperately needed on NCIS.  Full details of the project can be found on the OpBBC website and total fish count will be tallied and reported.

With a million fish as a tangible demonstration of the current level of viewer dissatisfaction regarding the loss of Ziva being expressed on the NCIS Facebook page, other large Facebook fan pages, and Twitter by fans all over the world, OpBBC hopes CBS will revisit negotiations with Ms. de Pablo and bring back the unique show and cast chemistry loved by millions.
